In our secondary schools, Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) programs provide students with opportunities to explore music, drama, and dance in a supportive environment. With dedicated spaces and experienced teachers, students are encouraged to develop their skills, express their creativity, and engage in a variety of artistic experiences throughout their school journey.
Duke of Edinburgh

The Duke of Ed encourages and supports young people to build resourcefulness and develop important and relevant life skills outside the classroom – under-pinned by our trusted and transparent processes and governance systems. the Duke of Ed Framework provides a community where young people participating in the Duke of Ed feel they belong. young Australians aged 14-24 with the opportunity to uncover their purpose, passion and place in the world, We believe that when young people are provided with the right support and opportunities, they can achieve amazing outcomes for themselves and their community. Through our flagship International Framework, we are committed to providing every young person in Australia with the opportunity to thrive; we help them build resilience, explore opportunities, and be recognised in preparation for life and work in a rapidly changing world.
Retreats and Social Justice
We believe in putting our faith into action and helping those in need. One of the founding principles of our Catholic faith is to show love and support to those who are experiencing hardship and who are on the margins of society.
That’s why we’re proud to have a strong focus on social justice and outreach initiatives throughout all our Catholic Schools Broken Bay school communities. From supporting local organisations and charities to engaging with the wider community, we’re committed to making a positive impact in the world around us.
Our Australian and Overseas Immersions are also key initiatives that allow us to live out our faith in a practical way. Some of our recent Social Justice Initiatives include: Jump, The Dish, Mary Macs, St Vincent de Paul- Mini Vinnies, Coast Shelter, Lakes Food Care, Rotary, Winter Sleepout.
World Youth Day
World Youth Day is an exciting international gathering of young people from all over the world who come together to celebrate their shared Catholic faith with the Pope. This incredible event is open to all our senior students over 16 years in years 10 and 11.
Initiated by Pope St John Paul II, this amazing event takes place once every 3-4 years at various locations around the world. In 2023 World Youth Day was held in Lisbon, Portugal where 170 young people from Broken Bay were led by Bishop Anthony Randazzo to participate in the pilgrimage. Ignite
Ignite Conference is one of Australia’s most dynamic Catholic youth events, bringing together people of all ages to encounter faith. More than just a youth conference, Ignite offers something for everyone — from crèche-aged children to parents, teachers, and parishioners.
Held annually, the conference attracts families, secondary school groups, young adults, priests, and Catholics from across the country who come to be inspired, experience Jesus, and return to their communities with renewed passion for their faith. Ignite Conference continues to spark faith, connection, and transformation.
